39th Annual Harrison Festival of the Arts

July 8th to 16th, you’re invited to the 39th Annual Harrison Festival of the Arts. The Festival begins on Saturday July 8th at noon and runs through Sunday July 16th. Entertainment is on the Beach, in the Harrison Memorial Hall and at the Ranger Station Art Gallery.

At Memorial Hall, enjoy seven full-length concerts in this intimate indoor venue. Plus, an evening of lively theatre and a night of literary readings that will take you inside a writer’s imagination. Seating is general admission. Hall location: 290 Esplanade Avenue (one block east of the Harrison Lake Plaza). Box office opens one hour prior to each performance. Doors open half an hour prior to each performance.

On the Beach Stage, you will have the picturesque village of Harrison Hot Springs at your back. The blue-green lake as your panoramic view. These are the natural surroundings you will find yourself in while you enjoy music from around the world on our beachside stage! Stay for the afternoon, or even the whole day, as a wide variety of local, national and international musicians serenade you. For admission to the beach stage we ask you to buy a 2017 Festival Button. Our stylish Buttons can be purchased for each day with a minimum donation of $2. It’s a great way to support the Festival! Or super-charge it: With a donation of $20, your special souvenir Button is good for all days of the Festival.

This year, they have a fabulous lineup of workshops and have something for everyone: Find out the link between hip-hop and social media, learn to balance your energies with crystal healing, harmonize better than a barbershop quartet, or learn the sinuous moves of a Brazilian dance. Workshops are open to the public and cost a minimum donation of $2.00. Some workshops, such as Aboriginal Drum Making and Yoga on the beach, have additional costs. We suggest you come early to pick your spot. That way, you avoid disrupting the workshop after it starts. All Yoga on the beach Workshops are held by our beach stage at 9:00am every morning of the Festival. For some workshops pre-registration is advised.
