Alec has been found safe! Thanks to everyone who jumped into action.

Chilliwack:  RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing teen, Alec Townsend, 13, of Chilliwack.  Alec was last seen on October 19, 2017 by a family member in the 5900-block of Vedder Road.

 

Alec is described as:

 

  • Caucasian male
  • Height: 160 cm (5’3”)
  • Slim build
  •  Short dark hair
  • Last seen wearing a grey hooded jacket, blue jeans, and sketcher shoes.

 

As RCMP investigators continue to search for Alec they are asking the public to remain watchful for him.

 

“Police and family are concerned for Alec’s wellbeing and believe he may be in need of medical attention,” says Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD.

 

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Alec Townsend is urged to contact the Chilliwack RCMP at 604-792-4611 or, should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
