Some sad news for a couple of locally owned businesses in Hope.
Fire crews were called out late Saturday night to a fire at Canyon Carpets on Wallace St. The fire destroyed the building and then spread to a neighboring business, Jay’s Appliance and Repair. 3 residential apartments were also damaged. No one was injured, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
