It’s going to be a mix of old favourites and exciting new acts at the Abbotsford International Air Show this weekend.
Airshow president Jim Reith says they’re pleased to welcome the US military back after a two year hiatus, with the big highlight being the F-22 Raptor.

“It’s the most advanced air fighter in the world.  It’s stealthy and is super maneuverable, and it puts on an incredible display.  In fact, the crew says don’t bother wearing socks to the airshow this year because once you see this, it will blow them off.”

There may be some delays to the show if firefighting aircraft have to make use of the airport, but airshow officials say that will be a great chance for spectators to see them in real live action.
