abbyPD1Police say a 25 yr old man from Agassiz was the victim of a single vehicle car crash on Friday night.  It happened on Hwy 9 near Whelpton Rd around 11:30 that night, when a black Dodge Charger went off the road, clipped a lamp post and ended up in some trees nearby.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.  Police aren’t sure yet what exactly led to the accident, but say it was very wet at the time.  They’re asking anyone who witnessed it to come forward.
