Who knew a cat could be worth so much?  In a recent report by ‘All About Cats,’ Taylor’s fan-favourite cat Olivia Benson was ranked as the ‘third’s richest pet,’ with an estimated worth of $97 million.

According to Billboard, “The ranking was created based on Instagram analytics, with many of the top-earning furry friends having climbed the ranks of wealth through fame on social media. For A-list animals such as Olivia, however, involvement in outside projects was taken into account.”

 

The listing reads, “Olivia has found success outside of the world of Instagram influencing.  The Scottish fold earned her fortune starring alongside her owner in several music videos, has crafted her own merchandise line, and has had cameos in many big-budget ads.”

 

Olivia Facts:

  • She was named after Mariska Hargitay’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit character.
  • She has starred alongside Taylor in commercials for DirectTV, Diet Coke and AT&T.
  • She appeared in music videos such as “Me!” and “Blank Space.”
  • Olivia was also part of Taylor’s 1989 World Tour – she appeared alongside her sister Meredith in an intermission video that played during the show.
