Today we featured this handsome boy, who was named Eddy by the shelter crew.  Eddy was an intact, male stray with no identification who was brought in and unfortunately not claimed.  After Eddy’s stray hold, the SPCA got him neutered, tattooed and microchipped. He also had a broken canine and required a dental to remove it.

Eddy is approximately 6 years old,  is quite affectionate with people, but unfortunately has displayed some aggression towards other cats while being in shelter.  As this happens often with strays, they do not know how Eddy would behave around a dog. The SPCA staff do know he would make a great pet for any type of household as he is quite confident and hasn’t displayed any shyness or anxiety.

The Chilliwack SPCA is at a Level 1 for cleanliness, regularly cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces. While they are open, if you are ill or have recently traveled, you are asked to stay away.

If you would like to adopt Eddy, you can contact the Shelter by phone at 604-823-6612. They are on site between 9 and 5, seven days a week. If no one answers, leave a message and they will call you back.
