This is Poppy.

Poppy was brought to the Chilliwack SPCA as a stray and never claimed.  She has now been spayed, microchipped and tattooed, has age-appropriate vaccines and is ready for her new home.

Poppy is as sweet as can be and at six months old loves nothing more than to be with people.  She loves following the staff and volunteers around and even likes to jump on their shoulders and walk around with them while rubbing her little face in their hair.

Poppy would definitely fit into any type of home. She can get a little jumpy with loud noises and will most likely retreat to a hiding spot until she feels secure, but her recovery from this is always very quick. At this time, they are unsure how she would do with another cat or dog, however since she is quite young with slow, proper introductions to other cat friendly animals, she should do good.

If you have any questions about Poppy please call the shelter at 604-823-6612 or if you would like to adopt please fill out an application: Cat Adoption Application – Chilliwack | BC SPCA
