The Chilliwack Chiefs are moving on to the second-round of the BCHL playoffs after an epic comeback to win the series 4 games to 3 over the Langley Rivermen.

The next round will see the Chiefs face the Prince George Spruce Kings. During the regular season the Mainland Division Rivals met eight times with the Spruce Kings winning 5 of the eight match ups, outscoring the Chiefs 28-18. Round 2 will prove to be a yet another battle for the Chiefs as the Spruce Kings out shot them 296-170 and went 7 for 28 on the power-play. While the Chiefs were 6 for 27. However it was the Chiefs who finished on top of the BCHL standings giving them home ice advantage throughout the playoffs which are set to begin in Chilliwack this Friday.
