This Saturday is the RCMPs annual “Stuff the Cruiser” event in the Upper Fraser Valley. This one is especially easy to take part in, because as Cpl. Mike Rail tells us, officers will be set up in front of a number of local grocery stores so you can just buy a couple extra items while you’re shopping and drop em off on your way out.

“And we’re asking the community to come and join us and bring non-perishable food items…we’ll also take cash donations…and we can stuff those cruisers full of food.”

Last year, they collected almost 5,400 pounds of groceries and over $2,400 in cash in Chilliwack alone for the Salvation Army Food Bank.

They’ll be at the following locations on Saturday:

Chilliwack (10am-4pm)
Save-On Foods stores on Vedder and Yale Rd

Agassiz (9am-3pm)
Super-Valu store

Hope (10am-4pm)
Coopers Foods

Boston Bar (10am-4pm)
Kal-Tire parking lot
