Seven teens rescued from slope near Harrison

Seven teenagers had to be rescued from a steep slope near Harrison Hot Springs on Monday.

The teens were climbing up the slope when one was injured by pieces of a falling rock, and the group realized they weren’t safe going up or down.

A group of search and rescue members, along with RCMP and other emergency responders, were called in to help out.

Three of them were pulled out by helicopter, while the others were led to safety by Search and Rescue.
