Charges have been laid against a 25 year old man involved in an assault earlier Sunday morning in AbbotsfordabbyPD3

Andrew Phillip Meeches faces counts of Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, and Disguise with Intent.

Police were called to a home on Crescent Way where they found a 55 year old man and 25 year old man, both injured.

The 55 year old man was a resident of the home, but the 25 year old suspect had allegedly come to the home armed with bear spray, a replica handgun, a machete, bolt cutters and a hammer.

Abby police say Meeches could have more charges coming.
