bc transitIf you don’t have a car, or don’t want to burn gas getting across the Fraser Valley, the wait is almost over.
The new Fraser Valley Express bus service, being run by BC Transit, will have its first official day next Monday.
Local mayors and dignitaries will try out the service later this morning. There will be 17 round trips each day, with the first bus leaving Chilliwack at 5:15am and making stops in Chilliwack and Abbotsford before carrying through to the Carvolth Exhange in Langley. One trip should take an hour and 19 minutes. Tickets will be $5 each way or $100 for a monthly pass. The first day of regular service, Monday the 6th, will be free for people to try out.
