curlingLocal curler Dianne Knutson will have a chance to rub shoulders with pros like Randy Furbey and Jennifer Jones at the pro-am portion of the Canadian Senior Championships.

Knutson and three others won a contest to take part, and she says she’s excited to meet these legends of the game.

“Having a one on one I think is just going to be fantastic, it’s going to be a great experience. Curling is going to be interesting in front of everybody, but overall I think it’s just meeting them. They are human beings but they’re like rock stars to us.”

The tournament will be the weekend of March 27th in Edmonton.
